Emergency Assistance Request: Marine Corps Veteran Facing 

Sudden Financial Hardship in Midland

Dear Support Group,

I am reaching out to urgently request emergency financial and transition assistance. Last Friday, October 2nd, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job due to company financial issues. As a Marine Corps veteran with a family to support, this sudden loss of income has left us in a critical financial crisis.

About a year ago, my family and I relocated to Midland, TX from Katy, TX. Following this sudden layoff, we have been left completely stranded with absolutely no money or financial reserves to cover our upcoming rent, utility bills, or immediate family necessities. We currently lack the funds to manage basic, day-to-day household essentials or any potential moving expenses required to navigate this transition.

I am actively searching for a new employment path to get us back on our feet permanently, but my immediate, critical priority is keeping my family safely housed and afloat until I can secure a new position.

Given my military background, I am hoping to connect with veteran-specific resources, emergency grants, or local housing and utility assistance programs that can help bridge this gap before we fall further behind.
