Life is full of surprises!

Bianca Lugo is an EMT for Staten Island University Hospital and suffered an injury while on duty that will keep her out of work and unable to pay her bills for up to ten weeks. Thankfully surgery is not needed at this time. As if things weren't difficult enough for Bianca and her daughter, another situation arose within days after her injury and she now has to find a new apartment to move into as soon as possible. 

Being an EMT in NYC is a tough job, but being a full time single mother is even tougher, especially when you can no longer provide financially for your 14 year old daughter. Before her injury, for the last several years Bianca has worked around the clock responding to 911 calls to provide for her daughter, working seven days a week, at times working 16 hour shifts. Each day Bianca worked she did it wholeheartedly, giving of herself to help the sick and save the dying, which in New York is not an easy job!

Bianca is a hero to her daughter and many others. She has helped countless people over her career and now Bianca needs our help. Please consider donating to help this mother and daughter in their time of need.
