For 12 years, I served my community as a Police Officer and K-9 Handler—dedicating my life to protecting and helping others. I put everything into my career, responding to emergencies, keeping the streets safe, and working alongside my K-9 partner. But behind the badge, I was struggling.

Due to mental health challenges from my duties as a police officer and a difficult divorce, I had to step away from law enforcement. Life after leaving the force has been anything but easy. I tried to rebuild, starting my own repossession business, but I lost everything—my business, my family, my friends, and my financial stability.

Now, I’m at a breaking point. I have no job, no vehicle, and no heat, and my utilities are about to be shut off. Every day is a fight just to survive, and without transportation, even getting to job interviews is nearly impossible.

I never thought I’d be in a position where I had to ask for help, but here I am. I don’t want a handout—I just need a hand up. With your support, I can keep the lights on, get a vehicle, and regain my independence. My goal is to rebuild, find stable work, and, when I’m back on my feet, pay it forward to others in need.
