Michael Cirillo started his Police Career in July of 1998 with the Milford Police Department. Michael transferred to the Hamden Police Department in May of 2002 where he had spent time in a FBI Task Force and eventually achieved the rank of Sergeant. Michael chose to retire from the Hamden Police Department in September 2019 after 21 years in Law Enforcement.
Michael is currently married to his wife Laura. Michael and Laura have been together since 2007 and were eventually married in 2014.
On 9/1/21 Michael was diagnosed with a brain tumor (Astrocytoma Grade 3) and had his first brain surgery on 9/30/21. In December of 2022 Michael was given the news that the tumor had returned and his diagnosis was changed to a grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme. Michael had a second brain surgery on 1/4/23 and after the surgery now has limited use of the left side of his body.
Laura has become the full time caretaker of Michael while he is trying to recover from his illness. Prior to having to care for Michael, Laura had to go through two surgeries for Ductal Carcinoma just before his diagnosis.
Any donations would be appreciated to help Michael and Laura during his recovery.

We’re sorry to hear about your illness and we’re praying for you .
Get well soon... You will be in my thoughts and prayers..
Mike - I am very sorry to hear this news. You are a brave guy to serve on a police force; keep fighting your enemy, and under God's good grace may you persevere and win. No surprise - you are in my weekly prayers for intercession at church. Phil Coppola (your Dad is my second cousin - I think that's how it goes; his grandfather Adam (Antimo) was my Dad's eldest brother, and my Uncle Adam's daughter, Evelyn, your Dad's mother, was my cousin - though we were a good 2 decades apart in age. So now you've had your daily dose of genealogy.)
Praying for you, Mike!
