Help officers affected by sudden duty status change

Tennessee
Created August 23rd, 2022

The IBPO Local 673 is trying to raise an emergency fund to help assist officers recently affected by the sudden change of their duty status. These officers are being punished for a second time and with no due process. This has resulted in the officers losing the ability to work overtime or extra job. Many officers rely on these to supplement their income from working for the department. The money from this fundraiser will go towards helping these officers with any emergencies or hardships that result from their loss of income i.e. bills, groceries, and medical expenses. Any money that is not used towards assisting the officer will be placed into the IBPO charity account and used to fund our charity work for future events i.e. officers in need, shop with a cop, and donations to other charities that help with first responders in need.

I can't see how that can be legal to go back and punish anyone a 2nd time for the same incident. Sounds like its time to change chiefs again!!!!
