Hi everyone. My name is Josh. I am 37, married and father of 2. I am currently employed as a peace officer full time and have been for nearly 7 years. In that time I have tried my hardest to earn my degree at Sam Houston State University. I am finally in the home stretch of that degree and the funding is gone. I am told I make too much for financial help, yet we barely scrape by. Scholarships are insanely competitive and I haven't won one since high school. Earning this degree would put me in a position to provide better for my family. I've worked too hard and too long to be scraping by. I want my kids to have the things and opportunities that I never had growing up. I would be eternally grateful for any help to finish this huge dream.
