In the summer of 2023 Air Force veteran and current Norfolk (VA) Police Sergeant Dallas Greeson received a sudden and unexpected lung cancer diagnosis, requiring her to undergo immediate surgery. The cancer was successfully removed, but she still faces a long road to full recovery. Additionally, complications during the procedure caused her to remain out of work for an extended period of time, making things even more challenging both emotionally and financially.

Despite tremendous support from the department and local community, she has struggled to make ends meet while unable to work for months on end. She is the single mother of two teenage boys who live with and rely on her to support them. On her behalf, the NPD Peer Support Unit humbly asks for any assistance in supporting our sister in blue.
