We are outraged by the unjust separation of former Interim Police Chief Casey Williams and his loyal dog, Apollo. We need you to stand together with us to help raise funds and demand immediate justice for K9 Apollo and the rightful reunion of man and his best friend.

Former Chief Williams took on the responsibility of caring for Apollo after the previous handler, Chief of Police Joey Carr resigned and retired K9 Apollo making him his personal pet. Former Chief Carr then,a month later, entrusted Interim Chief Williams to assume ownership and care of K9 Apollo. K9 Apollo, being a young pup who loved to work, was entrusted to Williams by his lifelong handler in an effort to ensure that he would be taken care of in a happy and safe home for life. Their bond has grown stronger with every passing day.

Since September 2023, Williams has not only provided unwavering love and support for Apollo but has covered the burden of all costs associated with his care, including bathing, grooming, toys, treats, time, vet care, and all other related expenses, with no reimbursement by the police department. He offered to pay for the costs of Apollo's recertification under Chief Williams as his new owner and handler, a generous offer that was unjustly refused.

A new mayor has taken office and moved to try to rip K9 Apollo from his home in an effort to sell him for profit.Apollo was purchased for $400 with funds raised by the community and the new mayor made comments at an open council meeting before taking office that the village could sell Apollo to make a profit.

On January 5, 2024, K9 Apollo was wrongfully taken from former Interim Chief Williams' home via a search warrant. This has deeply saddened us and devastated former Chief Williams. Out of love and compassion for Apollo,  former Chief Williams refused to surrender him to politicians seeking to profit from his beloved dog. Instead of allowing Apollo to remain in the loving care of Chief Williams until a fair decision could be reached, Apollo was forcibly taken away, undoubtedly causing immeasurable distress.

We need your help to right this wrong and immediately reunite Apollo with his family, former Chief Williams. It's time for justice to prevail and for this loyal duo to be rightfully reunited.

Join us in advocating for compassion and fairness for K9 Apollo. Let's stand together to bring about the justice he rightfully deserves.
All funds raised will be used for legal expenses and other expenses associated with bringing K9 Apollo back to his rightful home. Any funds raised in excess will be donated to a nonprofit supporting Police K9s.

Tyrannical narcissistic mayor. King ward over there. How's it feel to be king of 1.68 Square kilometers. Junction City needs to oust this glorified welfare recipient.

Thank you for your donation. In full transparency I would like to bring about the fact that these actions are those of New Mayor Edwin (Eddie) Keister, and are not the actions of Former Mayor Shawn Ward who never made an attempt to wrongfully deprive me of Apollo while in Office.
