On October 12, 2022 Officer Alex Hamzy, Officer Alec Iurato and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte responded to a domestic disturbance call. As the three officers arrived on scene, a suspect ambushed all three officers. Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte were killed by the suspect. Officer Iurato was struck by gunfire, returned fire and killed the suspect.
This fundraiser will directly benefit Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte’s families. Thank you so much for your support.

There are no words that would truly convey how nroken our hearts are over this senseless, horrible loss. honoring the men and women in blue, those no longer with us, and those who ho out every day to try and keep us safe.
Very Sad; I thank them for their service, and we will not forget them. MY HOME TOWN! Bristol Strong!
We are so saddened to have to make this donation as this should have never happened. But when tradegy strikes against the people that protect our community, then it's the community that needs to now protect those family members, especially the kiddos. No matter of words or money will ever fix the pain that was created. As a family in Burlington, you are our neighbors and we stand by you.
