On October 12, 2022 Officer Alex Hamzy, Officer Alec Iurato and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte responded to a domestic disturbance call. As the three officers arrived on scene, a suspect ambushed all three officers. Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte were killed by the suspect. Officer Iurato was struck by gunfire, returned fire and killed the suspect.
This fundraiser will directly benefit Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte’s families. Thank you so much for your support.

Our hearts go out to the families of the slain officers & the entire Bristol PD & the community. Such a senseless act of violence. May these brave officers Rest In Peace always. Sending love & prayers to all.
We own a condo in Bristol and are part time residents. Though only there on weekends we felt the need to help in our small way. Heroes are one thing we can never have enough of.
I wish my wife and I could do more.
