As many of you know, our friend and former colleague Danniel LaGault, aka "Danny," recently retired last year and moved from northern NY to Southern FL. Tarpon Springs, FL, to be exact. 

Danny worked with many of us in various capacities. He served the USCG Reserve for 30 years, 18 of which he was assigned to CGIS. Danny also worked 31 years in local LE within the State of NY, with 24 years at Monroe County and an additional seven with the Village of East Rochester. During this time, Danny was a highly decorated LEO, both locally and with the USCG Reserve, where he was a Chief Investigator / Special Agent. 

Ironically, throughout Danny's career, he responded to numerous hurricanes, going to extreme lengths to be there for others in need. Well, now it is time for us to help Danny!

Unfortunately, not too long after Danny and his family relocated, Hurricane Idalia visited them. As a result, they lost most of their items due to flooding, and their renter's insurance has declined to cover any of the loss.

After speaking with Danny, he said they lost a lot of personal items, but the ones that meant the most to him were his retirement plaques and shadow box were destroyed.
