Hey everyone! It's that time again to start raising money for our 4th year of Shop With A Cop for Union County. We are so thankful and blessed for all the donations received in the past couple of years. We Hope that we can do it again this year and hopefully try to increase the amount of kids that get to participate. We can't do this without your help!!!  

   Most of you know about this special event, but if not let me explain. Shop with A Cop is a non-profit fundraiser for our Elementary school aged kiddos to go Christmas shopping with a Cop. The funds we raise depends on how many children get to participate. That number is given to the school administration and the children are picked by teachers. We do ask that these children are students that strive to do their best and hasn't been in trouble. The teachers pick the ones that they think may have more of a need than other children at that time. 

   When it comes time for the event, the students will be taken to a local Walmart and given a treat and juice. When they are done, they will have a COP of some kind (Trooper, Deputy, Police officer, Correctional officer, FWC, Forestry etc.) waiting on them with a shopping cart. We then taken them to pick out whatever their little heart's desire (appropriate for their age of course). Afterwards we get to spend time with our kiddo getting to know them and building a good relationship with them. 

   I can't express enough how special this event is. I'm so excited already!
