On April 28, 2025, Officers Adames and Sanchez were involved in a horrific car accident while off-duty. Both officers are currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with serious injuries and are facing multiple surgeries in the coming weeks. Their conditions remain critical, and their road to recovery will be long and uncertain.
Between them, Officers Adames and Sanchez are loving parents to five children. Their families are now grappling not only with emotional trauma but also the overwhelming burden of medical costs, time away from work, and ongoing care needs.
These brave officers have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving our community for over 8 years with the New York City Police Department. Now, they need our help. All donations will go directly toward medical expenses, rehabilitation, and support for their families during this unimaginable time.
