To All,
Joe retired from the NYPD (114 Pct & TARU) in 2010. He started his career in Healthcare in 2010 as a Security officer. Joe quickly rose through the ranks and in a short 5 years began to oversee two hospitals and their Security programs. Joe led his departments with integrity and professionalism. He always led by example and worked side by side with his team.
To say he will be missed is an understatement. He looked out for his teams at Huntington Hospital, South Oaks Hospital and Zucker Hillside Hospital as if they were family to him, and they were. Joe was a loving father, son, husband, brother, uncle and colleague but more importantly he was a true and solid friend to all who met him. He loved life, cars, and he loved his friends but nothingcame close to the love he had for his family. He lite upwhen he spoke about his two beautiful daughters, Emily and Sarah. When he shared the stories of his girls you felt like you were a part of it. Both of them held a special place in his heart and he cherished the time he spent with them.
