The unexpected medical—-Chip Reynolds

Created February 17th, 2023
For over two decades, Sergeant Chip Reynolds has provided dedicated, professional service to the City of Hartselle Alabama. A skilled marksman, an eye for attention to detail, and a drive to help others—his choice of profession was an easy one. However his career was cut short and he would have served longer if it wasn’t for an unexpected medical condition that forced him into medically retiring from the Police Department. Chip has spent the last year recovering and was on the “up and up”, unfortunately he has been in the hospital since Friday 3 February after an unexpected medical issue surfaced. As a result, he is expected to undergo a major mandatory surgery in order to save his life.  His medical insurance will not cover the entire bill which is leaving his family burdened with the rest, mainly because his medical disability has been cycling through the system for the past year.
While they had savings they did not budget for the unexpected.
Chip's wife is also a police officer and has been providing protection and support to the Decatur community for 15 years. They have two young daughters Tamara and Kiaya.
If you can assist with their financial burden, any donation will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will be going directly to Chip's medical costs.
On behalf of the Reynolds Family, Chip, Julie, Tamara and Kiaya--Thank you in advance for your support!
