My name is Rebecca Michelle Henderson, a single mother living in Florida with my young son. As a mother, I have always done my best to provide a stable and safe life for my child. However, the home we live in has fallen into serious disrepair, and I am unable to afford the necessary repairs to fix the growing problems.

This house was once our sanctuary, but now it has become a place filled with risks. The roof leaks badly, and every time it rains, water pours into the living room and bedrooms. The electrical wiring is outdated, frequently flickering and posing a fire hazard. The living environment is becoming increasingly unsafe, and I worry every day about my son’s safety and health.

I have tried to save money for repairs, but with my limited income from a part-time job and the daily cost of living, I cannot manage to cover these major issues. All I want is for my son to have a safe place to grow up, where he can be healthy and happy, but I can’t do it alone. That’s why I am reaching out to the community—kind-hearted people like you—for help.
